I don't have it confused. Yes Grimaldi was a #####show and was also a puck hog. But they eventually got him off the line. And that definitely helped as it immediately resulted in more puck possession for Gaudreau.
Nonetheless, Miller continued to have plays die on his stick over and over. He seemed determined to show scouts how awesome he was and tried to do it all himself.
When JG carried the puck, things happened. When Miller carried the puck, it ended up with him carrying it over the blueline and taking a shot. It was horrible - and I was a fan of Miller prior to that tournament.
Gaudreau's success in that tournament was
despite his line-mates IMO, not because of any chemistry.
