Smith is a runner too, but I'm going to stick with Gilmour. Vanilla defenceman who is good and improving. Culkin is probably a valid choice too.

Historically about 25% of 2nd round picks turn out. With having a couple from this most recent draft still on board, I rather like our chances of one of the two suiting up as a NHL regular.
Maybe they should have gone higher, or maybe this is just a testament to how deep this pool has surprisingly quickly become.
