New York Times article talks about how it's so devastating cause 8 of 10 power lines into Gaza from Israel have already been damaged. Makes sense, cause I remember it not being an issue last year when that plant stood idle as Hamas refused fuel for it from Israel, and Gaza still had power then.
Plunging the whole region into no power, sewage or water is absolutely horrible though, hopefully those lines can be repaired quickly because you know the plant will take a while to become operational again.
