I heard about this on CBC radio this morning. Apparently Redford herself is claiming to have been unaware of the practice and that staffers in her office were doing this without her knowledge.
If we give Redford the benefit of the doubt and assume that's true, does that let her off the hook? There's some interesting parallels to the Harper/Wright/Duffy case here (if we also accept Harper's word that he had no knowledge of the bribe offer from his chief of staff).
