It looks like an updated Karmann Ghia (actually I like this). My first job in high school was as a car jockey for the Vancouver Volkswagen dealership and I always considered the Karmann Ghia as a rip off. The exact same under powered motor and under pinnings as the Beetle but for a bigger price as it was a supposed sports car.
