So Blankall is very factually correct in his statement; the offensive began after rockets increased their intensity (because of the actions on both sides after the Israeli teens deaths) to a point where Israel had to respond with force; later they discovered how extensive these tunnel systems were, and have expanded operations. |
Ok, My point still stands. The tunnels weren't the reason for the invasion. The murder of the three Israeli teens was the main culprit.
