Hard to compare them, as they are two totally different types in defensemen. My guess is that your statement will get trashed as Bou is not held too highly around here.
Sarge gets my vote. He wasn't flashy in the slightest, but just solid. I feel like you always felt good with him out there. Hockey-Reference has him listed at #10 all time for Defensive Point Shares:

It still irks me that we traded him after the 1990 season, as he went on to have a few solid year with Detroit. Here is the deal we made with Detroit, which I guess wasn't terrible, it's just frustrating that the pick never turned out.
