Felt like the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had, and lasted 2 full days. Not fun.

about 20 years ago i found out i was allergic to codeine about 30 minutes after i took my first t3

i took a stick in the mouth playing hockey (this is well before i started playing goal) and had to go get a wee bit of dental work... the dentist removed what was left of my tooth, they then had to pack stuff up inside my gums so that my gum line wouldn't concave in, then they put on a bridge... so my mouth was fairly sore. i didn't take any pain killers in the late afternoon/evening but decided to take a t3 before i went to bed becuz as soon as i laid back my mouth would start throbbing.
the result of the codeine - you know those things they put on your arm to check your blood pressure - it felt like i had a huge one of those on me from my waist up to my throat - i could barely breath - that was scarey. it was probably 1am - i was still living at home so i crawled upstairs (i tried standing up and collapsed), i woke up my folks and they rushed me to hospital. the doc gave me a codeine neutralizer and i felt fine in about a minute. the sucky thing was they held me in emerg for 3 - 4 hours for observation - but i guess that was for my own good.
