I voted Knight, but the argument for Ferland can be made that he put up 18 points in 14 games ( I think after the Horak trade?) and that there is top two line power forward potential there. Personally, I need to see Ferland put it together for an entire year but I do like the player too.
The rankings each year may not be so much a reflection of the player as it is a reflection of the improved prospect pool. So Knight's "drop" in the rankings this year isn't really a slight on him, because I view this ranking independently from last year's.
