Anyone else find the terms of the proposed American ceasefire completely ridiculous? They are proposing that Israeli troops not be withdrawn from Gaza! So for a week, the Israelis get to move around in Gaza with impunity making arrests and gathering information? It also would, of course, mean that any ceasefire would be broken in about three minutes as soon as the Israelis searched the first home.
