When you save up enough that you can pay for it outright with no guilt - THEN get it.
Good points. I used to be a hardcore gamer back in high school (yes I was a nerd lol), and spent nothing but play games after school everyday. I had no social life, and I got in so much flack from the family on how I need to get out of the house more. I used to spent every pay cheque on games.

Since then, I havent bought a single game in the last 9 years or so. But Ive just been so impressed with the new XBOX. Im worried if I get it, i will lose my social life and get away from the daily duties, spending too much time playing. But then i look at it from the other side of things, if I dont want to spend too much time playing...well then its not worth spending a premium dollar for it now.

It felt good I tell you when I stopped playing games. And yes its true, gaming can become a serious addiction (ive had it) and its not fun because you do lose a sense of reality and basically become a loser. I have a feeling if i get a console again, i will fall back to where I was. That is why I purposely sold off all my games back then, because I really had to do better things with my life.

Btw, not saying to be mean or anything...is it me or do most gamers who spend all day playing and the ones who will line up for a new console, geeks lol. Big glasses, out of shape, etc.

And hey, I spend a lot of time working out too. Good thing I just workout at home.
