The new plate will be available for a one-time fee of $75, in addition to regular registration fees, at registry agents across the province. From each sale of the plate, $55 will go to the Support Our Troops Program, administered by the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, to help current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families in Alberta. The remainder of the funds will cover the cost to produce and distribute the plate.
