The US has a few more decades of superpower to go, once it falls though it will be quick, in a sense we are already there, the US relies on the rest of the world, specifically China, to pay for its role in the world.
The whole thing though is built on IOU's, which rely on confidence. Once the confidence falls it all falls apart quickly.

Which is why Israel needs to have the foresight for their own good if they want to guarantee their survival long term.
