You asked me to give a basis for why I thought what I did, I gave concrete examples that people would know of and you guys have a meltdown. It's an opinion, if you disagree it shouldn't be such a huge deal that you need to break down and nitpick.

It's a forum, I'm entitled to an opinion and I have over a decade of experience training with high level athletes so if I form an opinion based on logic that should be allowed. You want me to name a 1000 names of people that can do a bunch of chinups? Then would that be good enough? Over an NHL season a player will get softened up and taking the contact that is inevitable could easily injure a players shoulders, it's how the body reacts in contact sports. The chinup thing is just one exercise but he needs to be an overall athlete regardless of chinup count. He only really needs to add 5-10 pounds to play with his style, now please don't freak out because I don't agree with all of you.
