Disagree. Poirier and Klimchuk went 9 and 10 last year despite being 1st round picks.
Simple fact of the matter is that most fans don't see them prior to being drafted but after a year of showing what they can do, both moved up substantially even though the pool is much deeper this year.
McDonald also suffers from having 2 top goalie prospects in front of him.
Smith is in a similar boat to Klimchuk - fans haven't seen much of him yet. I expect he will be among the biggest movers for next year's vote.
