The game is too fast and physical to be anything but in the shape of an elite athlete. In all likelihood Bennett will have the skill to play in the NHL this season but not quite strong or fast enough to survive the speed. A year or two focused on hockey and getting stronger he'll steal a spot eventually.

Doesn't it seem kind of weird of say "not to blow this out of proportion" and then claim his inability to do a pull-up in that scenario makes him a non-athlete, who is also somehow not fast enough due to his inability to do a pull-up (which he did a large amount of following that embarrassing moment).
Plus comparing him to Monahan who was a year and a half older, and then "average" athletes like Chara, Iginla, and St.Pierre...
Maybe I'm missing the proportional part of this.
