The game is too fast and physical to be anything but in the shape of an elite athlete. Bennett's got everything you can't teach so him not being NHL ready is not really a concern, he's tenacious and that's one of the most important tools for any player to have. In all likelihood Bennett will have the skill to play in the NHL this season but not quite strong or fast enough to survive the speed. A year or two focused on hockey and getting stronger he'll steal a spot eventually.

I think it's very likely Bennett goes back to Juniors, I think it's also a decision that hasn't yet been decided. Curious, though, where you get your numbers regarding professional athletes and pull-ups? Is this just hockey players, or all athletes?
