Lots of other dogs can do fly ball or whatever and don't have the propensity for violence as pit bull type dogs ( can we just call them pit bulls?). You can train a grizzly bear to ride a bike, they'll let you feed them and pet them until one day they don't like you for whatever reason and now you've got a problem.
I put pit bulls in the same category as any other wild predator. They are unpredictable while also being extremely aggressive.
