Well Here are more 'smokescreens' (larf):
The NY Times (hardly a particular friend of christianity, then or now)
published points about the Nazi dogma in 1942
Nazism is immutably fixed on its one objective: to destroy the christian belief imported into germany in the unfortunate year 800, whose tenants conflict with both the heart and mentality of the german.
The nazi 'church' demands the immediate cessation of the printing of the bible, as well as its dissemination thorughout the reich and its colonies. All sunday papers with religious content will also be suppressed.
Hey, here is another hitler youth song:
pope and rabbi shall yield
we want to be pagans again
no longer creep into the churches
the orb of the sun alone is leading us
out with the jews
and the with the pope from the german home.
Much too easy to simply claim he was a christian in order to try to link christians with nazism. Facts would indicate he is much closer aligned to atheism.

Ha.
This is no doubt the oldest, weakest, and downright dumbest trick in the book.
Let's say that the little weirdo himself was an atheist, because really, who knows what that nut was thinking (even though he talked a good Jesus game himself, when the mood was right).
All those people who did his dirty work in Germany and the rest of Europe, what religion were they?
