[QUOTE=Diemenz;4853353]I own a both so I can weigh in as someone who actually has driven both and not just a fanboy. My Ram has Had zero issues and I get considerably better mileage then the 2012 Eco boost when towing. In town the Eco boost is around 15.5L per 100 the ram 16.5L. Towing the ram is 18L the Eco is 23L.
I don't think you can go wrong with either truck to be honest, my opinion comes from having both and to be honest I like the ram a bit more but that's because the interior is much nicer then the ford but the space the ford has in the crew cab is much better for long trips with several people.
You have to admit that the ecoboost, hands down, tows the best of any half ton on the market. No? In my experience the low end torque is night and day compared to any of the small v8 engines including the Ford 5.0. Maybe the poor mileage is due to the fun of accelerating like you don't have a trailer hooked up!
