And after 6-7 years in the Flames organization he will have to clear waivers to be sent down and maybe the Leafs will get him for a 4th round pick to complete the Colborne trade.
It is really really important in a cap league to have guys on ELC playing well.... not in the AHL.
Let the other teams work with the projects and then step in a get them when they are really close to being able to actually contribute at the NHL level.
