so someone like Zajac and Chucko playing in the BCHL and going to a Canadian High school to be academical accepted for their sports scholarships to the NCAA aren't the same?
Zajac as a Freshman at UND 36 pts in 43 games a sophomore 47 pts in 46 games and the next year 42 pts in 80 games with the Devils.
Meanwhile Chucko went the Jankowski development path: Freshman 21 pts in 43 games sophomore 13 pts in 33 games and at that point the Flames could have declared him a mistake.
Any first round pick (picked in the first 3 rounds) should be front line player (at least top 6) as a 19 year old Freshman in the NCAA and pretty dominate by his second year.
Johnny G had 44 pts in 44 games as a Freshman....
On the same team that Jankowski put up 25 pts in 33 games Freshman 4 month younger than super-J drafted #146 in 2013 by Buffalo put in 11 pts in 30 games. Anthony Florentino is 6-1 210 , 4 months younger than Jankowski and is a Defenseman.
