In the article, it mentions that the CSA commissioned a study on the feasibility of a national league. The study found that while a national league was not feasible at the time, a national division comprised of regional leagues similar to the CHL would be more suitable.

With travel most likely still an issue today, would football have a better chance of getting results from collaborating with CHL owners instead of CFL owners?
