Glencross is a good player that wants to stay in Calgary. If the Flames are going to dig themselves out of their current hole they need more players like Glencross, not less.
Are the Flames really going to find a better UFA for cheaper on the open market?
I doubt it.
If that's the case then the logical thing to do is keep the guy around.
