I think it was operation sports that mentioned that the bubble around the crease seems to have been removed. Plus a lot of the issues you bring up are mostly because of old technology. Best to stay out of the past I say, and know that with more power, they will be able to do more.
The ps3 version has peaked. It pretty much peaked in NHL 12 and each year it was just minor tweaks here and there... As fans we get frustrated because we want more. Developers get frustrated cause they want to do more, but are limited to the tech, and then have to settle for new "features" and hope that is enough.
With the next gen consoles they now have the power to do what they want to.
I just ask that people stop talking about the old gen versions and base that opinion on how the next gen game will be.
If you're buying this game for the old gen consoles, then your concerns are probably valid.
If you're buying this game for the next gen consoles then your concerns aren't valid as no one knows what it will or will not be.

It's called a discussion, of course I hope the connection issues are fixed and the crease doesn't have an invisible bubble. The problem is putting faith in EA, after Battlefield 4 and NHL 14 I'm definitely in the wait and see camp. Telling me not to talk about the past versions is silly, you don't need to give us a common sense lesson. I was merely going over the rather large faults of NHL 14 that I hope are fixed.
