I drove home down the Old Banff Coach Road out onto the number one and when I got in a position where I was facing north, you couldn't see the houses on the horizon, which usually are clear as day. It looked nasty.
Severe thunderstorm watch currently in effect and looking at The Weather Network, once again we see them calling for thunder showers tomorrow afternoon and evening. This pattern of sunny days and stormy nights, is it common in Calgary?

It was when I was growing up here. It changed for a few years but seems to be coming back with a vengence this year.
