Insomnia informed phone typing, actually.
In reference to space time, in nhl 14, some players have the ability to bend the laws of physics and warp to different Areas of the ice, most often, frustratingly, as they are being defended almost perfectly.
The general rules and mechanics of the game change inexplicably for these players and ruins the game playing experience.
I was using datsyuk in that example that got changed to warship. With the pucks bouncing and the rebounds being more random, I hope it isn't a case of super players bypassing many of these things and having an unrealistic ability to coral and make extremely good plays on what should be contested and battled for pucks. Even if he comes out of the puck battle more often than not, having the 'battle' will make the game so much better than Datsyuk shrugging off the hit from chara and sniping the loose puck top corner with a 100 mile wrister for a bouncing contested puck.
I hope now that puck handling effects how well your player settles a rolling or bouncing puck at speed instead of having it effect how indestructable you are stickhandling as you cut across the middle like how it is now.
Puck control should be about the quality of your passes and shots while moving. The faster you are going, the more influential the puck control attribute. Hand eye should be about picking up loose pucks, deflections and receiving passes at speed.
Balance should affect the accuracy of your shot and dangles at speed, etc.
The game could be outrageously frustrating should the old attribute system be paired with this new puck/body system.
