I can't help you with your claim of double talk, but it would seem silly for you to get a legitimate diamond ring without having paid for it, wouldn't it? Plus, they custom build every single ring there, you choose the metal and the quality of diamond. This can affect the look of the ring (obviously) but all their replicas are made to look like a mid-range model so you get a great idea of what the ring is going to look like.
You didn't really think that they were just going to have 100's of thousands of dollars worth of gold, silver, and diamonds just laying out in the open, did you? You still get to walk around and pick rings out of open cases without the pressure of a salesperson standing over you, so unless you went in there to steal the rings, who cares if they're well made fakes?
