who?

What younger players are ready to step up and play the physical role.

People at CP are hoping that somehow Poirier and Ferland will be the the top-9 aggressive skilled forwards to take the Glencross role.

Remember how Alui was on the cusp of making the Flames..... because they did not have anyone at all in the system.

Glencross's skill and playing style are the hardest to replace of all the Flames veterans outside of Gio.

Glencross has had the hardest time playing his role as he somehow became only 1 of 2 Flames forwards that played with grit. Bouma is the other. After that Byron stood out because he actually tried to make contact with force.

Look at the value the league puts on Glencross comparables: Callahan, Dubinsky, Clutterbuck, Clarkson,

Clutterbuck was traded for a 20 year old #5 overall draft pick .

Glencross (and Wideman) basically missing last year with injuries was a major contributing factor tho the Flames being 26th in the league.
