As long as Treliving keeps to his mantra of 3 year max deals I'm alright with the possibility of re-signing Glencross. The youth of the organization, outisde of a player or two, is a couple of years away from being everyday players in the NHL so a 3 year term wouldn't be a detriment to the rebuild.
As far as $'s are concerned it's widely known that the player wants to be here so if the deal involves a NTC or NMC then he better take a hometown discount (ie: 3 years at 11 million). Management holds the advantage in contract discussions so hopefully they don't throw it all away (term and $).
