^^ you do know that Chicago will get a 2nd round pick (54th overall) from the league as compensation if they don't sign him, right? Unless somebody offered more than a late 2nd, the Blackhawks would be stupid to trade his rights. And since no team will give up any assets if they feel they can sign him as UFA, this one will drag out until mid August, I'm sure.
