Wotherspoon for me this round in a close race with Reinhart/Poirier.

Neither look to have the offensive upside of Granlund or Poirier but I have my doubts about either of those guys transferring their current offensive output to the NHL so I went with a guy that seems like a more sure thing.

I don't see Wotherspoon as ever being a top pairing guy or Qbing the PP but he does seem like he has a chance to play in the top 4 and be a steady guy that really makes it easier to make pairings as he can make up for mistakes made by his partner and play with any kind of partner.

I could see him protecting a Wideman/Russel type guy with all their mistakes and defensive letdowns or playing with a more defensive type in a shutdown role letting the top pairing get more offensive/easy minutes.

This year will be interesting for me to see Poirier to get a better sense of how his play with translate into the NHL, especially his offense.
