If your insurance doesn't cover it gladaki you should pay for whatever is required out of your own pocket.

As for how much it could cost, if it's the front door that could many hundreds depending on the kind of door. Hole in drywall can be a hundred or more to replace drywall, tape, mud, prime, paint. If there's no matching paint then more since whole sections of wall would have to be painted so it matches.

If there's water in the walls then also have to make sure everything dries out properly so there's no mould.
water just flowed through the vent,,I dont have single drop of water at upstair.
