I don't know if I can see that as being a reason to pull a ship out of a exercise duty though unless it was rampant and was causing the ship to not be able to fulfil its duty.
There are only so many reasons to pull a ship out of duty like that.
Its an interesting story, this doesn't happen too often. Most of the time the offending members are confined til the end of the exercise unless they are transported out for t some of the more serious things.

Makes you wonder if this has been an ongoing issue for this ship, and this was the last straw, or if it spread across the navy.
