Well they apparently spent the rest of last summer and all winter planning, because they came back with a multi-entrance multi-pronged attack. They've been in the bathroom, the kitchen, the entry-way. They've permanently invaded the dishwasher. They've been on our coffee table and counters. I forgot about my lunch remnants in my work bag the other day (so partly my fault) and was greeted by over a hundred of them milling about in there. It's getting ridiculous -- at least they're staying out of our bedroom at this point, but still. My wife and I are considering moving into my parent's place for the last couple months before our new townhome is ready just to get away from them.
And yes, I've tried everything. Raid, ant traps, duct taping off entrances, leaving other kinds of traps. They keep finding new ways in or have ways in we can't get to,

Have you tried one of the powder options?

I used a similar product around a tree and along my fence in my yard and it worked great at killing and eliminating the ants that I had. Once the ants were gone I did not reapply and they have not returned.
If you know of some areas that are entrance ways for the ants put some of that stuff in there and it should help.
