Currently, I am renting a main floor of town house. So today morning there was a fire alarm which was due to a loose pipe probably my fault (I was testing it last week and didn't tight it properly). Fire alarm was due to water which seep in basement alarm. So fire department came in and broke our landlord door. Also made a big hole in dry wall to get that seeping water out. We inform our landlord who will be driving from kelowna. I feel guilty for it, can I pay through my home insurance for his damages. They are nice landlord don't want to give them any trouble. Any suggestions
