In round 2 I thought I would pick pourier over Sven but I switched back. Looking at their ceilings I see both as top 6 but not first line. Sven is a boom or bust, if he doesnt make it as a top 6 player I dont think he stays in the nhl in a 3rd line role. Pourier on the other hand if he doesnt become a high level nhl scorer still can be our super pest on the 3rd line.
When I look at likelyhood Sven has proved he can play in the AHL whereas Pourier is trending up after a solid year in the Q. Until Pourier plays against men I cant say it is more likely that he will reach his ceiling then Sven. With Bennet the ceiling was higher which put him at number 2. With an equal ceiling then Svens more experience makes him the better prospect.
Would I trade Sven for Pourier? The answer for me is no so I voted Sven as the 3rd prospect.
