Frankly it is close between three, so to suggest that those that picked Sven are less informed and/or educated is snobby and arrogant.
I voted Sven. I did so because I've watched all 3 of these guys to some extent - though I admit Sven the most. I still think he has the most upside of any of the 3 - though I did give voting Poirier some thought. Prospect development is rarely a smooth straight line, but Sven has already demonstrated some ability to put up points in the NHL. I'm not going to under-rate him because of one rough year.
I think Poirier is a very intriguing prospect because of his potential to be a guy other teams hate to place against - who also produces some numbers.
Granlund took great strides last year - and continues to show really good instincts when it comes to finding the puck - and the hands to then finish.
All 3 are valid choices.

Yes all three are valid. Im just saying if you read the thread and compare the posts made vs the poll, the percentages for Poirier and Granlund are a lot more even when only considering the posts. Which would lead me to believe many people simply voted and gave it little thought, just saw Sven's name and overlooked the valid arguments made in this thread for Granlund and Poirier. Maybe im wrong, whatever.
