I'd say that looks promising. Sieloff especially... Really glad to see him healthy & looking like a player. He's our only D prospect who plays with a big of an edge. I hope he makes the team.
I thought Gilmour looked excellent in the 4-on-4 scrimmage last week. Much better than Culkin, in my opinion. His passing was outstanding and I thought he was agile and quick on his feet... Maybe it was just a flattering camera angle on the live stream?
Kulak/Culkin/Hickey/Gilmour are definitely in that T.J. Brodie mold. Obviously there's an organisational impetus to build around that type of player. Is this the type of defenceman that wins you championships these days? Part of me wishes we had a couple more Sieloffs...
If Roy converted to forward who would he be comparable? I slightly more skilled but less aggressive Ferland?
