And do you go out of your way to put your 5 year old child in an environment with boxes and crap all over the place? I sure the hell dont and I can tell you, if theres boxes and such, my 5 year old is trying to climb all over them and see whats going on... Not sitting in the corner, staying quiet while we assess the days events...

Its not the childs job to "cope" its our job as parents to make resonable decisions that best protect our childrens safety.

No one does... But if the Grandparents had any idea that they had people gunning for them in any sort of way for financial retribution, then perhaps they are somewhat at fault for allowing the Grandson over. Purely speculation on my part. But possible.

I dont even know what this means
lirl you sound like a fool. the last time the mom saw them was 10 pm at night (so if the kid aws 5 he was probably going to bed late or had already fallen asleep) and she was back at 10 am the next morning - which would have been enough time for everyone to wake up, spend a bit of time together, and have some breakfast. so idk why you're so obsessed with the 'environment'. it sounds fine.

i'm sure the grandparents didn't know anyone was 'gunning for them'. having a financial problem doesn't mean you assume someone's thinking about coming to kill you. the idea that there is something off about these people letting their grandkid spend the night just because of a business problem is 100% stupid.
