I don't mean to suggest I think he is a bust. There is still a lot of time and he may turn it around as soon as this year. But I certainly wouldn't consider him as the second or third best prospect in the system with players like Poirier, Klimchuk, Granlund etc showing as much upside as they do.

EDIT: Also, a bad year is a bad year. If Gaudreau goes to the AHL and has a year similar to Baertschi's last year, do you think people will still rank him as the #1 prospect next summer? It isn't the final story, but neither is this ranking. It is a snap shot in time and in Sven's case, last year definitely should be taken into consideration IMO.
