Your parents are hitting rock bottom, they are selling all their stuff, you know of some pretty hard times for them and you drop your kid off to them the night of the estate sale... What would go through my mind thinking this was a good idea in the first place?...

None the less, its a terrible tragedy. Its a damn shame what happened to that young man. RIP Nathan. You are the one in all of this who was truly innnocent.
I believe they were moving to Edmonton/Mexico? If that was the case then why wouldn't you want your kid to see Grandma and Grandpa, since visits could be few and far between.
