Cammalleri's play as a Flame right up to the point where it was pretty clear that he had zero reputation was not anything worth close to the 6 M he was getting paid.
I was double shocked that the Flames may have considered having him back and that the Devil's figured they could take a chance on him.
The Cammalleri situation clearly shows that it is much easier to coach a Byron, Bouma, Street ... guys on the edge of getting an NHL salary than Cammalleri, David Jones, Galiardi, Glencross who have a couple of million in the bank.
I hope the Flames are looking for a coach that will be able to motivate and provide a structure for team and personal success for the guys who are established NHLers.
