I voted Gaudreau over Bennett for the same reason that I would've voted Sven over Monahan last year. When an 18 year old comes out of junior you don't know how good he is ouer will be unless he's a generational talent. Ideally you would judge your prospect base off ceiling, but that can be hard to do when comparing an 18 year old to one who's 21. Brodie for example has surpassed his drafted ceiling where as Neimez didn't even reach his "floor." So when it is as close as it is between Johnny and Sam, you have to go based on what one has proven so far and the winner is Johnny. If it wasn't as close of a debate of ceilings, that's when you can judge off potential.
