Wiggins seems like a perfect fit for Lebron. Thompson is likely a bench player but still not sure how he isn't a good fit with Lebron. He can rebound and provide adequate defense that is about all Lebron needs from a big.

Yeah every team needs superior wing defenders, but the fact that Wiggins doesn't shoot particularly well is what I'm getting to. Wiggins is not very polished offensively and with that he won't provide Lebron the floor spacing that he needs to be effective.
Again with Thompson, he won't provide Lebron with the floor spacing that he needs.
Lebron needs shooters, so defenses cannot collapse on him.
