That's the thing, they can, they just won't make as much money as they could with a new arena. It's getting the taxpayer to pay for the maximization of revenue of billionaires. Multiple multi-billionaires.
The Flames shouldn't go down the threaten to leave road, but I see no reason why they wouldn't. It happens everywhere else.
