To be fair he's never really been given a chance to run as a #1. But from what he's shown in his limited playing time, it's pretty stellar.
In the 143 game he has played, he has a .925 sv% and 2.12 GAA. That's pretty darn good. Even after being traded to the Devils last season, he was forced to split time with Brodeur. Schneider is going to have a lot to prove to live up to this contract, but if he gets to play top minutes, he's easily a top 10 goalie. I don't see why he can't live up to it if given the chance.
