In any case, I did do a quick google. Didn't expect to find 2002, but I thought that surely some of the third place games must be there.
South Korea - Turkey 2002 is listed as #26 most memorable World Cup moment on the first long list I found, and is actually the highest one from those games. So I'm not alone in my opinion

Haha, a little steamed not for the first time.
I'm English, I always come across badly on these forums.
I've genuinely never heard of a 3rd place playoff making a classic moments list. Normally it's a chance for the manager to put out a second string team and play with no worries, which is why there are often quite a few goals.
I'll check it out.
