the biggest thing I remember about The Decision was Lebron, Wade and Bosh being raised up on a platform with fireworks and crap when they were introduced in Miami...followed of course by the "not 1, not 2...etc" speech. corny as a fat Spartan with a broken microphone to kick off a Sens game.

as a rough comparison, I wonder what the general sentiment was around Kariya and Selanne joining the Avs with Sakic, Forsberg, Hejduk and Tanguay in a similar attempt to stack for a cup. of course, there wasn't nearly as much pomp and circumstance, but I still remember thinking it was lame and cheering even harder against them. Luckily the Flames gave us all something awesome such that we forgot about the Avs that year.

Yeah a lot of people hated the Avs that year.
