So taking part in a demonstration = risking an ass kicking by the authorities? I think an arrest would have been what most liberal democracies would have done.
And this kind of crap happens all the time, but doesn't get reported by main stream media. The only reason this has created a #### storm is because the kid is an American citizen. That's probably the only reason why Israel is investigating this as well.
